Hey guys... Need some help here. Motor is 60% complete at present. Head needs to be re-assembled.

Now my builder has just rung me.... If I want to pull the revs I need some heavier valve springs... And a few other bits..... Heres what I need.

Double valve springs to accept high lift cams ( 10.35mm cams )
Titanium Retainers
Bronze Valve Guiides

Does anyone know if any other Nissan aftermarket items will fit in ? rb vg ? I am using the stock sized valves so dont want to replace my current ones.
I have found these valve guides on egay which seem to be ok and legit. bronzanium 90 is the same bronze that Jun uses.

But I am having trouble finding some titanium retainers and high lift double valve springs to match... Anyone please help me out!

The RB25 Dual Valve Spring / Titanium retainer from supertech will fit in.. They are almost the same dimensions, I have a post I think in page 7 or 8 of my build thread here that has measurements..

But you will have left overs..

I don't see why new nissan valve guides couldnt be used..

Hope this helps..

cheers mate, Would rather get aftermarket ones to match the rest of the whole head. 9,500 - 10,000 rpm here i come.

And yeah I had a look through your build and found that info - But you never said anything about the valve spring size of the ca18 one :)

Thanks heaps!

The springs will fit in the hydraulic lifter, but if your spinning through 10000rpm your going to need solids anyway...

Your engineer will still need to machine the height of the spring seats to suit...

Yeah the info is there on page 8.. Including a pic of both springs side by side lol..

I assume your using afteremarket valves as well?

yeah mate, Just so you know where im coming from.

Head ported and polished to the max, Reworked combustion chambers, Supertech intake and exhaust valves, Jun one off drag cams from the old Jun drag motor ( supposebly) specs are 312 degree 10.35mm lift, Tomei solid lifters, Tomei Solid lifter shims, Tomei Valve springs ( Which are too small )

So I have just oredered Bronze Valve guides anywho... Next ill be ordering supertech rb25 neo dual springs, rb25 neo spring seats and retainers.

So will have some tomei valve springs up for sale shortly! lol
