That's right ladies and gents, scrubs and scrubettes, T25 poopers and big juice T3/T04 and larger, lookie what I found:

Yes folks, it's a set of CA18DE/DET double valve springs sold in America for only $220 shipped 2 day air. I won't be disclosing where, due to cheapy-cheap skaters who like to window shop and piss off the supplier with silly questions, but if "myetball" wants to have the honors of ordering them for you, then you're in there. Screw the high cost of JUN and Tomei, these will work for what I need them for (500+hp on the girlie's car). And that last comment only pertains to you if you think it does;) .

Looking good Dee. I should be getting a package any day now from these wonderful mad scientists. Sent them a brand new (from OEM Surplus) head, new cam, and various misc. used parts to make a high performance head for a CA18ET. It's getting P&P'd, competition valves, HD dual valve springs, aluminum retainers, custom rocker arms, cam regrind to 270/.435.

I'll be sure to get some pics of their work. I'm really interested to see the results of the P&P.

That grind sounds a bit extreme and if your compression is going to be what you said you wanted, that's going to be an RSX/S2000 hunting N/A B11 sentra that will nearly put the smack down on it's prey. I mean let's face it, if I man handled B16 powered 99 and 2000 Sis with the B12 and a junkyard CA18DE, imagine the treat the others are in for. When do you plan on finishing everything. Oh and BTW, those are the valve springs you were referring to.

DOH! Shoulda clarified. This head is for a guy in Norway running a T12 Bluebird with a CA18ET swap (originally CA20i) I volunteered to be his parts scrounger/broker since stuff is so expensive over there. Machine shop work goes for $150/hr. in Norway.

So far we've scrounged a new turbo, muffler, larger fuel rail, KA24E throttle body, new injectors, Walbro 195lph, and a few other things I forget. The reworked head will go on a stock CA18ET block with moderate boost....say 10psi on average.

My engine is still sitting in storage. My turbo Grand Am is still sitting with a bad rod bearing. I have a new factory crate short block w/crank, rods and pistons, for the Grand Am. I also have some Speed Pro hypereutectic pistons. gonna get another head this weekend then I'll build up the little opel with a performance cam, some P&P work and a few other goodies.

Once the GA is back on the road I'll start looking for another Sentra. Hopefully a B12 Sport Coupe to be the chassis for my N/A monster. Unless I can find another B11 hatch that has no crash damage....like mine used to be before my son drove it.

BTW, in case anyone is wondering if these secret mad scientists are a cheap outfit, they aren't. They do quality work, much of it custom and will make just about any engine part to order.

FYI, for the head and cam work I'm getting done I sent off a money order for over $1,400.00. Not my money but it still hurt. :D

If you go for the stroker get some pics up. Would like to see how the crank looks with nickle-chrome journals, also would like to see ceramic coated pistons.

Those springs pictured at the top are from the place I emailed you. Look up their site and give them a call. Don't forget to ask them about some aluminum retainers. If you've got deep pockets you can ask about titanium retainers.

Really whats the difference in price? On DSMs (i.e. mass produced and sold in bulk ) Ti retainers are only $165 (Crowers), about the same as Al pieces.

Good luck on those. People with the KA24DE(t) engines are having issues with them binding then breaking; and this is more than just two different cars.

do you know of any issues with the Z32 ones?as that's what they are.

The UK SR boys haven't had any probs yet.

Maybe just the KA ones are a bit cack?

I've had friends use them on high HP SR's with no issues... might just be KA ones.

Could just very well be seeing that the fact that the KA was never meant for high lift camshafts and these guys have 'em. I've personally never used them, but since I spend a considerable amount of time with guys with 600+hp KA24 powered 240s, I guess that's all I'm exposed to.
