just curious why do you want a front clip? a clip doesn't really come with much over a complete swap. unless your doing an rhd conversion.

im always told to get a front clips becuase most the time your getting things that are beat up from being dropped and other stuff i guess the front clip keeps everything protected.

If you have only 2500 to spend you may want to save up a little more. A good motorset will run you 1300-1500 shipped. with a grand left over for the clutch, intercooler, full exhaust, misc. stuff like plugs, fluids, nuts, bolts, maybe a MAFS that wasnt included. $2500 will be cutting it really close if you can get deals on some stuff.

On the other hand, its your money.

Also who cares about what other people say about the CA, dont knock it until you rock it.

I brought a front clip for $2000. I rather had done that because it came with everything I needed to do the swap. Go with the front clip.

Let it begin... I will probably start another argument with this one. The 1/2 cut comes with the SMIC, Piping, MAF, ignitor, and maybe other misc. items.Yes, these are not the best setup. You'll eventually have to swap them out. However, if you don't have the money to peice it together with a motor set, go for the 1/2 cut. Not flashy, but it'll give you everything you need to get the car on the road. Try JazzProParts.com , Good Luck!

A lot of places include the intercooler with the motorset. That is the only piece that is usually not included. You can just use a SOHC maf which costs like $15 at any junkyard. I don't see the extra $500 for a clip as worth it. Ignitors are super cheap as well. I don't know what your plans are for the car, but $2500 won't get you too far. Figure at least $300 just on maintenance items. Fluids add up quick, as do misc hose clamps, vacuum t's, etc.

$1500 to get a motorset to my house and in my car running as my daily driver. Other than headgasket, she has survuved 1.5 years of abuse. The CA is great.

I got mine from http://www.jhotimports.com

i did my swap for 1800 including my motorset..

1100 for motor250 for FMIC50 for Downpipe+Testpipe110 for Clutch30 for flywheel resurfaced

add in the extra for oil, coolant, random hoses and what not.. it really isnt expensive to order the motorset and do it..

go to http://www.japanstarmotor.comthey charge 1100 for the motor set with EVERYTHING (excluding smic). I got my ignitor chip and mafs. when i saw that the drop resister was missing, i called them up and they shipped it next day!! the mafs plug on the harness was even missing and they shipped that out as well!!
