hey new owner.just picked up my ca18det engine, its pretty much stock except it has custom manifold to run a t3/t4 hybrid turbo, you guys seem pretty experienced about tunign so should i just keep things like this, re-chip my ecu, SAFC?, what would you guys reccomend

Nistune if you wanna go cheap or Power FC if you can spend a little more.

yea ive looked into that.....i think nistune alone with an safc would be a cheap and sound way to tune it...

Or you could get a MoTeC m400 pro if you are a total baller.

definately not a baller....payin for parts by buying cars and parting them out university student...haha i think nistune sounds good

Instead of an SAFC get a wideband and use that to dial in your ratios with Nistune. (ie: The right way.)

Yes....ditch the SAFC....get a wideband o2 compatible with Nistune...and a $200 laptop to run it on.

^Exactly what I did! haha I can personally vouch for the Innovate LC-1. No compatibility issues with Nistune at all.

emanage blue with all the kookups is the ****. Im loving it, its cake to work with and as long as you have a wideband, its idiotproof, even allows full timing control
