Ca18det To Sr20det..help hii guy...

i'm having a 200sx with a ca18det '240sx' in the U.S ....

and slammed the black-top sr20det b4 few months, running the ca18det's wiring annd ecu all this time...

now,i have bought the sr20det's wiring and ecu from a 180sx to run my engine properly..but the car wont run, i;m having problems in connecting the 3 clips behind the battery that power the ecu and all the other relays ....

the 200sx ca18det's wiring is different than the 240sx ka24det's

does anyone know how to wire these three clips ?????:help

the wiring for ka->ca and ka->sr is the same...

but, somhow the three clips behind the battery "gray,brown,and aother smaller gray one " are different on my ca wiring...

dont u have any link that shows how to wire the sr20det's wiring to the ca18det's chassis wiring,behind the battery ??

they are the same... everyone in the ca forum uses SRSWAP.com wiring info

but...

when wiring the ptu's two thick wires "blue/red + blak/red " ..the srsswap.com says we have to wire the two wires to go into one 'black/red", where as the ca has the two wires on the chassis wiring,,i;ve tried wiring the two wires into one,and tried wiring the two wires into the two wires on the ca side ...but both ways,,the car doesnt wana start !

When you say the car doesnt want to start, what exactly do you mean? Crank but no fire?

You dont touch the chassis harness at all, just the engine harness. You splice the red/blue and red/black at the engine harness, not chassis.

yea... i spliced these two wire,and connected them to the black/red ,,but still no use ....
