hey guys, i have a 1990 180sx with a ca18det, pretty much stock.

dont get me wrong i love the ca, but ive been gaining more and ore interest in swapping for an sr lately for a few reasons.

ive searched far and wide for swap guides and can only find them fro ka to sr.

so i guess my question is, what is needed for a ca18 to sr20 swap? is it similar to a ka24 to sr20 swap?

any special things i should take note of?

Like Adrian Mentioned, stay with the ca. Save your money and work on your suspension and a nice pair of seats if you havent done it.

This is my CA to SR swap guide. The UK spec CA and the CA-powered 180SX are very similar. I own both a 180SX and a UK spec 200SX. The 200SX originally came with CA but has been swapped to SR. When you go to the link, choose "save" to some place on your PC or laptop. It's a pretty straightforward affair.
