CA18DET Throw Out Bearing *Help*

Hey guys, I recently purchased a 180sx with the ca18det. Big fan of the car and the engine. But anyway, the throw out bearing is shot. When the clutch is engaged it makes a terrible loud chattering sound. The clutch is an ogura clutch kit, and the throw out bearing is made by ogura as well. Now, 2 questions.

1) Will a stock ca18det throw out bearing work with the ogura clutch kit? I couldn't see ogura making some type of custom bearing so I would assume it does.

2) If the stock one works, does anyone know where I could go about finding one? The ca18det in Canada is a pretty rare engine. Will the stock one off the 88 pulsar work with the ca18de ? Do you think Nissan could get me Japanese parts?

Just get one for a 240sx and it should work just fine! Pulsar unit will not work!

But the 240sx has the ka24 and I have a ca18.... The bearings are interchangable? What model should I get the bearing from? The ka24de or the ka24e?

the trannies are identicle, only thing thats different is the bellhousing.

just order one for 240sx. U might as well also inspect replace your pilot bushing while u have it apart.
