yes but i don't think the heavythrottle guide tells you what to do with the brown wire. it just says to connect it to a 12v switched source. in the case of the ca18det there is actually another brown wire to connect the original to the original one that is mentioned in the guide. this may sound a little confusing but you'll see what i mean when you read through the guide.
