Congrats! It looks great.

Have you considered putting a NISMO FPR on there while the fuel rail is still accessible?

But you're not leaving the stock FPR on there are you? You need a rail adapter to run the SARD regulator.

yea I dunno, guess I havent looked into it enough. Ill post pics of the SARD tonight, and maybe you could make a few suggestions. The NISMO regulator just bolts in place of the stocker, correct? Maybe I should just save myself a headache and get my hands on a nismo regulator?

the universal nismo regulator requires the same adapter for the fuel rail. you can buy it for ~25 bucks from courtesy nissan. by the way, its looking pretty good!

the nismo regulater for the sr/ka/ca bolts in place of the stock one on the end of the fuel rail, no adapter needed.

I thought the nismo unit took the place of the stock FPR at the end of the fuel rail? But If I decide to keep my SARD, Ill look into adapters from courtesy nissan, or make my own maybe.

How about hollowing out the stock unit float_6969....so it cant regulate anymore but rather just flow?

why do you all change the FPR? I'm still running a stock one with 18psi on a GT28RS. I can't see that there's any reason to need a different one except if you need more fuel pressure because the injectors are maxed. if you have bigger injectors than standard anyway you don't need that.

hey now, MS isnt *that* bad - i chose it because of the open source nature (huge nerd skills) and with the new GPIO board, and router board, i can literally do anything with it (boost control, automatic transmission control, traction control, close sunroof and windows when i go over X KPH... E-fans that turn on/off based on many parameters as i want... load different maps for different fuel mixes at the push of any button ....

all this is still a little bit away, but the GPIO board == WIN

and teh router board will allow sequential injection if you want too

Because here in the US we've got to change out the stock fuel pump. It's only good to maybe 200hp.

Most of us get the Walbro 255lph. That pumps extra flow volume and pressure ability cause it to overrun the stock fuel pressure regulator, which of course makes it run rich. The other problem is that, at least in my case, it wasn't a predictable overrun. My fuel pressures were all over the place and made tuning next to impossible.

Static fuel pressure is supposed to be 36psi. In my particular instance, I was at 48psi. That's a 30% increase in pressure. In the scheme of fuel volume, that's not a tremendous increase (It takes 4 times the pressure to double the volume), but the lack of stability was the problem in my particular case.

I don't know why it would be too much different for others.
