I'm just finishing the swap into my 240 but I did it myself..... I live in Hamilton. I know a place that will give you a good deal on a CA, but I don't think they're complete. I picked up my motor and tranny for $800 CDN (A while back, before the guys even knew what it was). ECU and harness for $450 AUSD, and MAFS and igniter for dirt cheap..... Thanks Ben!! Then there are numerous other things you'll need..... gauges, downpipe, FMIC, BOV, LSD.....

Overall be prepared to spend at least $3000CDN ($1900USD) just to get her rolling (that's if you install it yourself). Finding all of the necessary parts to get it going was also time consuming.... buy it complete if possible.

http://www.jspecauto.com has the CA for $900 US + shipping

It includes:

Complete Motor:-Block-Complete Head-Intake Manifold-Throttle Body-Top Engine Harness-Power Steering pump-Power Steering high pressure Line-Wastegate solenoid controller-Lower Engine/transmission harness-Turbo exhaust outlet extension-Turbo inlet pipe-Turbo outlet pipe-Wastegate actuator-Cam Angle Sensor-Bell housing bolts-Exhaust Manifold-Alternator-Starter-Fuel Rail-Injectors-Canister-Turbo

ECU (Computer)

5-Speed Transmission- With Clutch components assembled to the engine

- Engine Wiring Harness (complete)

Engines do NOT include the MAF sensor, ignitor chip and the intercooler

They said shipping to my door (London, Ontario) will be $225.

So thats approximatly $1250 for the motor set, $225 for shipping, some extra for taxes, then an ignitor chip, stock intercooler, MAFS, and installation with gauges and piping.

So yeah, around $3000 CDN.

Id be cautious. They have a CA on ebay for 899 and it has a cut as it exits car harness. I recently inquired on a CA (month or two ago) and same thing...cut Ask for pics of the harness I guess. i dont know. Just be careful. that harness is a pain in the *** to acquire I hear

Well hopefully you won't need one, they say their harness is complete.

I am STILL skeptical on that. I emailed them last night though. We will see. On their website it still says there cut and the last CA they had on ebay was cut as well

Where does it say anything about the harnesses on the website?

But according to the e-mail they say it's "complete".

How much do people usually charge for re-wiring?

click on the egine. It lists everything that comes with the car.

Before it gets to this motor does not include MAF, Ignitor or Intecooler it says Engine harness (cuts as it exits the car) Id ont know too muc aout swaps, but that sounds like an incomplete harness to the average buyer. Maybe I am just ignorant otherwise, but that sounds like a cut harness SOMEWHERE.
