I've troubled you guyz a lot with this engine, now I'm down to what i believe to be the last problem. Here's the thing: I start up my car in the morning with no problem, drive around with it working perfectly, but as soon as I stop somewhere and turn off the engine and try to turn it back on, the car won't start. the engine keeps cranking as if it wasn't getting any gas or spark. If I wait for about 10mins than it starts back up again like nothing happened . I did a ecu diagnose and it gave me a code 55, so no problems there. I also checked fuel pump, injectors and spark from the coils. I'm starting to run out of ideas.I would really appreciate any help anybody can give me.

sounds like a power transistor is going bad. they tend to freak out when hot then u can drive again when they cool off. the FSM has a testing procedure for them.

page 155 looks like it. shows which terminals to check.

If it checks out, try to get another unit cheap or borrow one... anyone near you have a ca18 or find a Q45 in the junkyard maybe?

Sounds like the water temerature sensor! Remove the fuel pump fuse then try and start the car. If it starts running, put the fuse back in; or if you haven't changed it yet, change it. It doesn't always give a code, so disregard your code 55.

It wasn't the temp sensor since i replace all of em before while i was trying to figure out the problem, it turned out that Liquid_Neon was right it was a power transistor. I'm getting it fixed tomorrow morning so i can finally start working on making my ride look good.Thx for your answers people, much appreciated
