Ca18det starter same as ka?

Ca18det starter same as ka?
The reason is that mines is not good and I was wondering where to get another one or, see if the ka will work. Thanks for your help

Don't know about the KA starter but the direct replacement can be sourced from a 87-88 Pulsar NX SE. Only the SE model.
