Shally, sell me your stock PCV hose that runs from the Intake manifold to the valve cover lol.

Definitely do your thinking and research on this one. Do a compression test on the CA for sure. It would be cool in the S14.5 for sure do what you really want!

So a good friend of mine who runs a CA18DET over in Sweden told me; "put a good oil cooler ,and raise the max oil pressuare by 0,5 bar by adding a 0,5 mm distans to the overflov spring in the oilpump."
Now is this VERY Necessary? im not too sure what he means about the oil pump

The guys over in the UK and Europe SWEAR the CA has problems with the rod bearings. I've never seen problems over here in the US, but those guys have been pushing the CA to it's limits for a lot longer than we have.

The oil pump mod is SUPER simple if the motor is out of the car. I'm going to do it to mine when I drop to pan to replace the rod bolts. I'm shimming the oil pump and replacing the rod bolts because of the input that I'm getting from them. I'd rather not find out if they're right or not.

As for the cooler, it's the same concept. It keeps the oil from thinning out.

I am currently doing the same swap into my 95. What did you do about the MAF? Mine is wired for the CA, but I don't have that MAF. I only have one for a Q45 or Stock KA24DE. I have searched with no luck, just "try this, it MIGHT work!" I really don't want to F it up. Also , im running a T3/T04E. Not sure what injectors tho. This is my first 240, as I am a Honda fan and have done swaps, turbos, etc. Im a NEWB. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are you running a Stock CA?? A T3/T04E then u may wanna think about building the internals up.. I am running the stock MAF with Stock injectors and just a DBB T28 S15 Turbo.. As for your injector size i would recommend anywhere in the 500's, but that mainly depends on how much power you are looking to push out of it.

OK guys, Got the CA Last week..a Few updates..

Took the kit off and its getting painted while the CA is getting drop'd in

Custom did my Dash to Fit my HKS Gauges and Turbo Timer..

This guys has been MIA since this post. We don't know that he ever even finished it.

As for a wiring diagram, AFAIK, there isn't a diagram to wire a CA into an S14. I have a standalone, which is easier to wire up than the stock CA harness/ECU, and it still took me hours to figure it all out and wire it up.

The only way you're going to be able to do this is if you get REALLY familiar with automotive electrical and how it works, or pay someone to build the harness for you (wiring specialties)

I had someone modify the harness, so I just have to plug all the plugs. I was wondering if it is like plugging in a SR into a S14? This is my first swap so I'm new to everything sorry...

Thanks for the info

I have no experience in this whatsoever, but I would imagine if a CA into S13 is like an S13 SR into S13 then a CA into S14 should be like an S13 SR into S14.

It is VERY similar to an S13 SR into an S14, but not exactly.
