HI Boys,

I just came back from montreal, I checked the engine, it looks in a very clean condition, I did a leak down test and I honestly could say that it is better than my engine, also, the compression was around 160 accross all cylinders.I talked with the guy, and he price is 1450 Canadian (1060US) plus shipping.

This engine is in a good condition, let me know if any one of you is interested, I took some pictures. The engines comes with 5spd transmission, starter, cas, a/c compressor, alternator, rad fan. half cut wiring harness and ecu.He can get some more engines with complete wiring harness for 1200US but it will take 4 weeks from the day I order it.

If any one is interested, let me know, this is too good of an engine to let it go without any one here buying it.

Turbo spins freely, as good as my new turbo. The dowpipe is good all the way to where it hooks to the CAT ( it is not cut, it is a flange type brackit)

The guy will ship all over NorthAmerica.

Thank you ,

PULSAR GTR

THAT IS FUNNY (please don't fame me too much) lolI don't flame no one, some people do that and Myself I don't like it, but back to your question.you can get one of a ca18de 1988-1989 Nissan pulsar and hook it up, every thing will bolt on fine, you can also use the pulsar ecu and get it reprogrammed at jwt or go with an aftermarket one.

OR,look on ebay and sometime they sell the ecu and the harness for the ca18det engine.

I hope that answered your question.

very few importers bring sheetmetal with the clips, its just too easy to damage it in the container... I'm not saying he doesn't, I'm just pointing out that most don't:)

OK this post is way past due. I ordered my motor from pulsar GTR. Firstly I must say amazing guy to deal with, nice as can be and answered every single one of my stupid questions. That being said, now to the business side, we did the transaction through money order which frightened me at first of course, but I through caution to the wind in the mere talks I had with him on the phone prior to the transaction. You can tell a whole lot about someone by their personality. I digress, the day after my money was received he had the engine packed and ready for shipment, which was a friday unfortunately, so my motor wasn't shipped until the next business day which was monday of course. One week later my engine was here 350$ for shipping which is an amazing price last time I checked. Prompt service, and always ready to talk to me via email phone and even let me bother him on MSN. The shipping company was great too, they seemed kind of low budget but their customer service was awesome. They gave me all the price quotes on the phone, and I even spoke to the delivery drive who was a real nice guy on the phone. Great service, great people, and great motor. It was very clean and came with a few extra goodies. :pface Anyways I would highly recommend business to him. Toss me an email if you want to see some of the photos of the engine. Sorry Dee I got impatient waiting until january, but I'm definitely not disappointed with my engine has great compression and is very clean. I'll get back to everyone when I finally get this bad boy in my car.:jet:

I had to throw in the cheesy smiley for effect.

That is all.

Where in canada is this guy located? Are the new 5 gonna have uncut harnesses? If he's in the vancouver area I'd be interested in popping up and taking a look in person.

Hi All,

I will recieve the engines in a week or two, I will do a compression and Leak down test on all of them, and get some detailed pics of all the testing that will be done on them and other pics to cover all the engines. All the engines will be coming with compelete harnesses and ecus.

I am located in Ottawa, but the engines will be at my buddys place in Montreal and thats where I will ship them from.

Gore, Thank you for the great feedback, and I am glade that your are a satisfied Customer. I aim to satisfy each customer and won't settle for less.

I will keep every one posted.

Thank you,

Quote »Sorry Dee I got impatient waiting until january, but I'm definitely not disappointed with my engine has great compression and is very clean.[/quote] No man, it's really not a problem at all and definitely no need to apologize. Anyone providing a service to our fellow CA lovers gets thumbs up from me and I've always said, go where the getting is good. I've already had a case whereas I had to give an individual back his money because the engine that he paid for was not delivered to him when promised (In the importing business, this will happen). As long as your money is sent on two way street, you should never have to worry about being disappointed or worry about getting played for your money and it's nice to know that we do have some honmest people that are willing to assist other enthuisiasts in this forum. So if you have any questions about your motor or need any assistance with performance related or general maintenance, I'm hop-skip and a ghetto jump away from you;) . And congratulations "Pulsar gtr" for delivering joy to our friends and btw, how's your car running?

Dee

Hi Boost boy,

Well I have my PULSAR stored for the winter now, but I am almost done another ca18det conversion on another pulsar, still need to custom make the exhaust front to back, I will post some pics of some time. Man, I like this forum, it is one big happy family(cheezy I know but it is true) not too many ca18det owners are out there, and thats what makes it an interesting engine.

Thanks,

PULSAR GTR

I'm 85% sure I'll buy one of those 5 motorsets when they come in. It's dependant on getting another framing job soon. I've got the 1200 for the motor, but I don't think I can drive out to Montreal to pick it up. If you can e-mail me at [email protected] when they come in I'd appreciate it.
