Hey guys new to this page jus wanted to know a bit of info about changing a rear main seal

I have tried to use a seal pick to get the seal out but that is not working one bit is it Easyier to unbolt the seal carrier that the seal slides into then pull the whole thing Out and pop the seal out

You can't remove the seal carrier without removing the oil pan, and you can't remove the oil pan without dropping the front sub-frame. There's nothing special about that seal, it's just stuck in there from being one million years old. Have you tried a big flat blade screwdriver?
