I've been a good moderator by not chopping down lazy people for not searching, but dude, you are so asking for a CA forum beat-down . I seriously recommend you do some research on this engine and it's electronics because these plugs are oh-so important and there's information for days on this subject as well.

Boost_boy,

thanks for your reply,I have been scouring the web for informationHave you got any advise where i would be able to find out what these connectors do?

I have brought a spare engine for my ca18det powered kit car and these connectors are on the new loom, and not the existing one? the existing loom only has the injector resistors, ignition module and main ecu connector all the others are missing?

Any help or advise would be appriciated even if its just a point in the right direction so i could figure it out for my self,

I have purchased this new engine in hope to rebuilt it with all forged internals, would like to see 400-500 bhp but we will see, need it drivable and reliable aswell!

Thanks again

Ross

Those plugs are the power supply for various parts of the eccs up to and including the knock sensor among other things. What kind of car do you have? If you are swapping this engine into a chasis other than an S-chasis, then I'd understand because the S-chasis should already have the set-up for these plugs since this motor was standard in 200sx cars.

Ahhhhh, I knew there was something fishy about your first post. You should've specified the fact that it wasn't going into an S-chasis and then I wouldn't have commented the way I did. Anyways, get the engine in the car and I can help with your wiring needs. I've done a few CAs into strange cars and yours should be no different.

Haha Sorry should have explained properly!

The car already has a ca18det fitted! just the wiring is awful so i got this new engine with a nice un-touched loom which i want to transfer onto the existing engine while i rebuild this one,Surprised the engine in the car runs so well with out a knock sensor and the other connectors!

tomei is making all of the parts for the head again. Any tomei dealer should be able to get cams for you.
