ca18det problems direly need help

ok im really confused now and dont know what the problem is. just rebuilt the ca18det motor.. got new rings etc. the head we didnt touch it was fine..the motor has excellent compression. had the wrong ecu... got the jdm one and operates better now. fuel pump turns on.. fuel is getting to the block, got a new ignitor chip.. so we have spark now.. coil packs work very good. starter works perfect car acts like it wants to start just .... WONT. alternator is great also. injectors all work. maf sensor works.

when i check the ecu.. whether its pluged in or not. the car works exactly the same.. i.e. gauges all turn on.. fuel pump on. etc.. which to me is odd. and when we plug in the ecu the code off the box is 12345, 12345, 12345 over and over again. can some one please help? my email is [email protected]

55- No malfunctioning in the above circuits (or all clear)

So does the ECU/CAS keep power during crank and while key is in IGN position?

Sounds like everything can work. Has this car and it's wiring loom ever worked with this CA18 ?

ok, 12345 is happening over and over again because you arent doing it right..those are your modes

turn clockwise all the way, wait for 3 blinks in a row symbolizing mode 3, turn counter clockwise all the way, read the codes.

sounds like your timing is off bud...better check your marks per the FSM. sounds like 180degrees out....
