You don't need anyone to check your ecu as you can do it yourself. The procedure is in the stickies and all over this forum, but I'll explain it to you in the shortest form: 1. Remove ecu from stock location, 2. Turn ignition switch to on an both the red and green light should be illuminated on your ecu, 3. There's a dial next to those lights that should be turned clockwise with a flathead screwdriver, 4. The lights will start flashing and when they have flashed 3 times, imediately turn the screw back counterclockwise and wait for the lights flash to flash your trouble codes. For example: red light flashes once and the green light flashes 3 times= code 13. Good luck...
