Hi everyone, i just got done wiring in the ca18det according to the wireing for the sr20det. i did everything as read and took my time doing it. now the car wont start. it cranks, theres fuel and spark but still wont turn on. does any one have any idea to what it can be? Also what is the resistor that i have been reading about. what is it for? another thing i noticed two plugs on the end of the CA harness, i know that one of them goes to the MAF, what does the other one go to. theres also a plug right under the fuse box in the engine, its clip onto the bracket any idea what this is because there like 2 wire on it and the harness to the KA has 4 wires on it, so out of those 4 wire form the KA which two would i wire up to the 2 wires on the CA harness. Hope that i didnt confuss anyone. hope someone can help. OH.. one more thing on the ignitor chip on the bottom theres some sort of thing down there whre there's 2 plugs for hoses or someting and at the end of it its pluged. what 2 hoses go hook up there?

Sounds to me like your missing the dropping resistor. But could be wrong...
