Hi I was wondering if a ka24de power steering pump would work on a ca18det? If it would work do I also need ka24de brackets, pulley, etc? I've been searching on the internet and have been getting mixed results.

Thanks,
Daniel

It worked fine for me for a couple of days before it started shooting the belt off. Come to find out, the KA24DE pump sat just a little too far back, so the pulley was about 1 rib off (if the belt was only 2 ribs, probably would've stayed on fine), so I just got another ca18 pump and called it a day.

I was using KA24DE pump, CA18 brackets, CA18 pulley.

Oh okay, do you know where I could find the Ca18det bracket, pump, and pulley. I've been looking all over for one but no one seems to carry one.

If you are from Washington and the same guy from NWN, Doug at UPGarage may have one.

I'm sure boostboy on this forum has what you need. Sometimes it won't let people personal-message him if they're new and haven't turned personal-messaging on in their account settings or something like that.

There's also a facebook page that's simply called "240sx" that has a guy in Tennessee selling off all his ca18det stuff, parting out 2 swaps. His name is Nick Hageman.

Hope this helps.

Yea I'm the same guy on NWN, I contacted eric from UP garage and he said he doesn't have one at the moment.

Could you PM boost boy for me? It say's I'm not allowed yet. If not do you know how many post/involvement I need to have before being able to PM?

Thanks for all the info!

Thanks!!

This is the last thing and I'll have a complete ready to go ca18det swap. Hopefully he still has one left, trying to put in my swap next weekend.

Which bracket are you referring to? I may be able to help, but I need to know which bracket (adjustment or mounting) you need because this stuff is scarce and I have a limited supply.

I need the whole setup, when I bought my swap it didn't come with any PS related parts.
