Well, it took forever only being able to work on it after work hours during weeknights and some of my weekends, but it's in and it ran on the first shot! Had a few leaks because of untightened oddities but everything is solved. Runs awsome, but I do smell some burning oil coming from the turbo. for everyone who missed my build thread here's what I did: Rebuilt the block, untouched head, Nismo clutch, Nismo FPR, elec fans, SSAC FMIC, SSAC manifold, Megan racing O2 pipe, greddy downpipe, SAFC2.

A big THANK YOU! to the CA forum peeps for helping me out with all my questions, couldn't have done it with all of you and the sticky info!

And the pics! Could someone tell me what colour Nissan calls this? I almost never see it.

Dude, that is one NICE ride you got there!!

Our CA's are going to be twins too!! Got the same FMIC and same tubular exhaust manifold! But alas, mine's still on the engine stand (in my kitchen)

Quick question about your coolant and oil lines to and from your turbo: i just discovered last night that my stocks ones wont work cause that manifold sits the turbo a little lower and further away than the OE log style. Did you get aftermarket lines and where from?

Thanks for all the replies! I Used all the stock lines. You have to bend them very slightly to get em to fit. All can be done by hand without problems. The oil return line on the bottom of the manifold had to be cut to shorten it, again nothing major.

Saaweeett! Nice to see im not the only one with this color. When I bought the car I had all kinds of crazy paintjob plans, but it grew on me. Im gonna repaint it eventualy with the same color.

You know whats funny Englishman? The guy I bought the car from put a clearcoat over the sticker thus making it inpenetrible (sp?). Thanks for the compliments. Im still down for a meet-up this summer if you were serious too.

Thanks Bwana, I try to keep it clean.

Look for a few more photos soon in the "show off your 240 here" thread. I also installed a new carpet for the passenger compartement!

And again, thanks to all the CA folks, your info was REALLY valuable!!!!!!

Yeah man, I am looking to swing out that way at least once before the end of summer. My friend in Ottawa whines that I never visit her.

The SAFC2 hasnt been wired into the ECU as of yet. Ive spent so much time on this car im taking a break to just drive it and enjoy it. It might get wired in this weekend. And my ECU is stock. Even when I do wire it in I cant adjust anything seeing as how I have no wideband O2. Itll just monitor the engine for the time being.
