does anyone know where you can buy CA18DET performance parts? the only place that comes close i can find would be taka kaira. specifically im trying to find downpipes. thanks-

For the price, just get an SR O2 housing and use an SR downpipe. That's what most seem to do. Or, if you must, just get an SR downpipe and cut the flange off, rotate it, and re-weld it.

thanks man you just saved my day on that. and one more thing do you know where a site is that sells performance stuff for the ca? or does most sr stuff fit the ca?

What kind of performance stuff are you looking for? The only parts that are "tough" to get are engine internals, headgaskets, clutches and flywheels. The rest either work, or can work with a little coaxing... Read the FAQ at the top of the forum...it has a lot of useful info...

Yes and no. Its not like with the SR where you whisper its name and parts rain down from the heavens. There's a lot available through NICO's sponsors. I've yet to come across a "Your #1 source for CA parts!!" sort of emporium though.

yeah i searched and looked and all that good stuff. theres not a whole lot under the CA part of this forum. that first page has a lot of useful info though. but the performance im talking about would be like.. stuff i can't find. Ive already found the intake, exhaust, plugs, filters, and basically the universal stuff (bov, turbo timers bc's) im looking for stuff like manifolds and cams and pulleys and i think a turbo manifold. would a 300zx fuel filter fit on the ca also? thanks guys.

yeah, the z32 fuel filter is what most people use. for manifolds and stuff, check ebay (keyword: ca18det). for cams, cam pulleys and stuff, check http://www.perfectrun.com.au or the jun, tomei, etc. sites. ebay is the best though
