ca18det overheat

Got a bit of a problem with my ca18, when i start it up it sputters a bit but then works fine, but if i drive it for like 20 min it starts to heat up, it doesnt show any abnormality in the temp during that 20min but afterwards the temp just skyrockets to the top, any ideas?

Please take care of this asap as your headgasket will blow...

Maybe a stuck thermostat? When did you service the motor's cooling system?
