Ca18det or any jdm in 510

Is their any reason why i would have to swap or rewire the stock jdm wire harness when installing ca/sr into my 510. Its not like the ecu can't stay in the bay. Any other reasons??

use the standard CA18DET engine loom, and put it into your 510, you only need to hook up a few wires.....I'd definately reccommend to NOT put the ECU in the engine bay......there it will get hotter, and possibly WET....which would very likely kill it.

I've just finished putting a CA18DET into my 510......goes awesome!

I would love to find a 510 in the area that doesnt have all kinds of rust in the body or frame...

How did you find your shell?

U just gotta search man. I was searchin 4 years and a friend of friend sold me his for $1500. For some reason i've seen a bunch down here in good condition even drivable.
