2 different types are available, a full cirfumference oil pan rubber gasket, and a corked version 2 piece deal.

check it out for yourself.

Nissan - Engine - Oil Pan Gasket

I just ordered both. No more RTV, I hate that crap.

Now to find someone who makes valve cover gaskets like the SR, with those half moons built in.

no more weepy ca18!

DON'T USE THE CORK ONE!!! I've got it on my car and the oil seeps through it. I've used RTV on countless Nissan oil pans and never had them leak. I'm going to pull mine off and RTV it when it goes back in.

You can also use 1984-1986 200sx turbo (ca18et) gaskets from your local Autozone, Napa, etc. They come in both one piece rubber or 4 piece cork (2 side cork pieces, and 2 rubber front and back pieces)

that applied to both sides of the coark would have sealed any potential leaks I think.

the rubber one wont leak though, I plan to coat the mating surfaceses of even the rubber gaseket with that stuff.

I've used the felpro with two rubber pieces and the cork for the rest and didn't have a problem. I have also used the orange nissan glue without a problem.

yea like I said RTV is garbage, its purpose was to keep cost down, not seal engines properly.

I know some of you guys swear by the ****, but I'd take a coark gasket sprayed with high-tac any day over RTV.

Im so excited I found an oil pan gasket.

I ordered one for all of my engines!

I use the 2 piece cork with RTV on both sides. Doesn't leak at all.

ready to hear how good RTV really is. I had been having problems with sealing my manifolds on my mustang. so i bought some high temp RTV..... NO GASKETS, JUST RTV and voala!!!!!!! NO MORE EXHAUST LEAKS AT THE MANIFOLD hahaha

RTV is the only way to go dude, my entire engine is RTV'd, i guess its all in how its applied, apparently i am teh MASTER!!!!!!!! maybe i should put it on for you when im up there next week

walk through the pits at any drag strip, and you will see 99% of the cars (race cars not street) have Red High Temp RTV used in place of a manifold gasket on the headers.

I did it on my mustang, and with the sealing issues ive had with some of my exhaust on the s13, im half tempted to do it there too

How it's applied makes a BIG difference. I guy I know HATES RTV cuz he says it never seals anything. Then I saw how he was putting it on the pan and then how much he was tightening the bolts. I showed him how to apply it in one continuous bead, and to just barely tighten up the pan still it starts to squish out and then LET IT SET UP!!! If you put it on and then start the motor up, it's gonna vibrate loose. You've got to let it set up.

i have a question about oil pan gasket/seal.

when you put RTV, do you put the front and rear rubber oil seal with RTV or just RTV everywhere ?

front and rear half circle seals, and RTV on the pan. Look in the FSM because they want a dab of RTV on the ends of the half circles i believe.
