well as of saturday night i nolonger have a running CA18det in my car, well it runs but i cant drive it. the damn gT2530 blew on my. .. only had it on like 6monthes if that, and the bearings seized up on me. it was the worst im talking the worst week i have had in probably 3years.. i just blew like enough money to rebuild my motor and finish my project , and have absolutely nothing to show for it except two tickets to the casino. blah. easy come easier go. hopefully this week ill get my new car. and put this damn ****** in the garage and stripp it and start over and be ready for next spring.. ;)

the new car im lookin at 2000 VW Gti with Vr6, daily drive till the mod bug hits me again and i supercharge it lol

Hey, when you finish my swap this weekend, youll be getting the money for doing that and my car. You can sell the car then and make a little more money that way

I have an idea. On thursday I have a test but I don't have any class. I can be down in Dayton by 4 pm. I could help out a lot and provide a car to get around in. But the problem is I would have to stay until sunday or when the car is done (which still has to be sunday:) ) You could call off work on saturday like you did last time. On Friday you can leave me a list of things to do, or things to buy when you go to work. This sounds like a good plan to me. Let me know what you think...

that blows. seriously. i think there is very little i can do to help being in alabama and poor and low on parts, but let me know if i can. why did the turbo die on you? its a dual ball-bearing hks unit, id think it would be hard to kill. if i didnt have to buy a week's lift ticket at vail this christmas ($500) id buy a new one and send you mine, but there you have it. if you need to drive it you can always buy some cheap t25 off a newer dsm for one or two hundred bucks. hope it all works out for ya.

nah, dennis there is nooooo way they will give me off saturday. we are short handed as it is right now.

but hey looks like my luck might change, i seem to have just enough credit established now to get a high intrest rape me in the but car loan. lol, the rates and charges dont really matter to me, ill juts pick somthing either new or damn near new , make payments for a year or two , double up on them every few monthes , either sell the car or pay it off in a chunk towards the middle or end of the loan, i have a habbit of comming into chunks of cash every once in awhile, like last week, i just had nothing to spend it on right away so i blew it all at once.

I've got a t25 I should be getting rid of in the next week or so. It is leaking some oil on the compressor side, but other than that it's fine. If you've got the means to replace bearings, I'd be willing to sell it to you cheap. Give you the NICO/CA hookup if ya know what I mean.

i think jon just wants an excuse to build his CA;) btw, you still lookin for a spare motor to rebuild? I'm hurtin for cash, and I'm thinkin of selling my bad motor:(

The block/crank/rods/cams/valves/lifters are good... just needs a head/pistons/gaskets/bearings... would be a good project motor!

anyone who wants it you guys know how to get a hold of me... AIM: SOlsenA6 if anyone else needs it:)

Oh, my bad. I misunderstood. I thought you said you had an extra in the garage. Sorry. It's not a big deal. I just can't have any fan untill I get that elbow. Luckily it's cold, cuz as long as I run the heater it won't overheat.

no I will have an extra after I get the new motor;) I do have extra sensors (pretty much double everything right now and triple when the new motor gets here) but I want to keep all my extras until I get the motor running well... finding these damn things is getting hard!

I was thinking $300 for everything off that motor (including the bad parts if you want them?... I dunno, any less and I would just end up keeping it for future projects:)

yeah soon as dennis motor is out of my garage i will start disassembling my car and motor, i will then send the head out and amass the head crap. then the block will go out for a refreshment and possibly geting cryo treated. then the pistons and bearing and all that good stuff will be orderd and put in, the rods will be shot peaned and cryotreated, then teh crank balanced and knife edged, also i geting a manifold made and picking up a 25R or somthing else to push my *** around fast.

the Dub will be a side project and daily drive, altthough im still looking at some TAs and stangs i havent been car shopping or thought about a diff car since i had my first 240. cars have sure been changing
