there are a couple of guys parting out motors right now so the water pump shouldn't be an issue. also the clutch you can either run a specific ca18det spec clutch. they aren't all that bad or you can run a ka24de clutch. and the spark plugs. look up the part number is there

why would he get a used water pump from a parted out motor?

go to the parts store and get a water pump for a 85 nissan 200sx with the 1.8 turbo motor. its the same.

and you can use a clutch for a 85 stanza with the ca20e.

or you can pull the pins out of the flywheel and use a stock 240 ka clutch.

the clutch disc and pressure plate are the same for the sohc and dohc, but the throwout bearing and carrier are different. i dont remember which works with the ca trans.

85 200sx turbo water pump. The engine code is CA18ET. I prefer advance auto myself.

GRRR, I wish this mis-info had never been reported. Not your fault, but frustrating nonetheless.

If you go and get a water pump from a FWD CA18DE from a pulsar, it will bolt up to the motor, but you HAVE to use a FWD pulley with it and you CAN'T use the stock fan.

What is much easier and BETTER to do is to get a water pump for an 85 Nissan 200sx Turbo, engine code CA18ET. Then you can use your stock pulley, and the fan if you want.(I've seen the two impeller designs, and the CA18ET is a much better impeller)
