CA18DET Max HP on stock Turbo?

Hello lads, waiting on selling my Supra before starting my S13 project car. I'm quite intriqued by the CA18 motor and wonder how much rwhp she'll make at max of the stock T-25.

I read the SR20DET makes about 240rwhp max on the stock T25 and stock fuel, whats the case for the CA18?

Anywhere between 200-250 hp, but at 250hp don't expect that t25 to really survive for long. I would say safely around 220hp.

I'd go for 220 @ the flywheel at about 16psi (with chip to remove fuel cut at about 14psi) which is pushing it on a little T25.

250 at the fly is just possible with a T25 but you'll need all the other goodies to get it. FMIC, fuel pump, chip, exhaust and filter are essential.

The stock turbo is weak, ditch it immediately.

I'm basically just building a normal BPU S13 for driving a bit then for sale. I'm counting on putting 3" exhaust, intake, supra fuel pump, supra FMIC and just wondering how far the stock turbo will take me. (since it comes free on the motor set).

Is it near equivelant too the SR20 redtop? I think the T25 on the redtop has a bigger compressor wheel then the CA18's stock right?

It will be blown so ditch it immediately. Stock SR turbos(S13 good, S14/15 better) are good uprades, usually has some life left in it, and will get you a small house in the 200hp neighborhood.
