Hi guys, my names Greg and I'm all the way over in New Zealand. Have signed up to this forum in the hopes that some of you Nissan gurus can help diagnose this horrible noise that my CA is making.
I bought the motor 6 years ago as a complete package but have had both the inlet and exhaust manifolds off as well as flywheel. Replaced all manifold gaskets and have done an injector upgrade to 444cc VR4 injectors. Turbo is a T25G, SR20DE throttle body etc etc. After spending way too long building the car I finally got round to starting up the engine. Filled it with oil disconnected ecu cranked it over on the starter motor to build oil pressure, hooked everything back up she started first try. But a few seconds after being started this horrible ticking/clicking noise started from the engine somewhere. Have removed cam covers to inspect lifters and they all seem to be primed with oil, did a compression test and came up with 150psi on all 4 cylinders, all the timing marks line up, so I'm pretty confused as to what it could be. Going to drain the oil and see if anything is floating around. Here is a link to the video to give you all better idea on what it could be.

The CA is attached to Datsun 180B, currently IC piping is not hooked up and no coolant in the motor yet either have only had it running for less than a minute over all. Only exhaust at the moment is the turbo dump pipe which is why it sounds like a tractor at the moment lol.
Any help much appreciated. Thanks.
