Does anyone know if there is any maf that i can use on a ca18det that I can find in the US. I know the z32 and the J30 both can be used, but i'd rather not reprogram my ecu at the moment.

MovingViolation already suggested that a ca18de maf might work, can anyone verify this?

Also MadSci, afew weeks ago you offered to send someone a maf..you wanna offer me the same deal? email me: [email protected] with pricing and shipping etc...

Also to you MadSci, I'm unsure of whether or not I can get a wiring harness from someone locally..do you think you could get me one of those too?

thanks,Sean

Thanks cuzan0 (again today!). That makes things much easier.

I've got the harness for now (DroorsNo43) but I hope no-one outbids me!

What about the ignitor chip? Is the pulsar's transferrable too? Is there any american-spec cars that use the same ignitor, maybe infinty's or something?

I believe the KA mafs is bigger and i heard people taking off the sensor "black sensor on top of the housing" on the KA mafs and installing the CA sensor on the KA housing....

his instant messanger is dr bo0 and I've always been able to get a hold of him in the past... he's been very reliable for me... if you still can't get a hold of him email me and I'll give you his phone # I guess... he's a pretty highly regarded friend of mine, and I doubt he's doing anything scandalous!

Thanks. I will start with that.

I am sure it has to be some sort of missunderstanding. But $400 is still alot of money.

Will keep trying to contact him for a few more days. But until I know more don't make any own juggements from my post. I just like to talk to this guy at the moment and settle things. So this ain't any flaming from my side. But if I don't get a hold of him realy soon I might be a bit more upset.. it was'nt easy to find him here on this board either :-\

Thanks for now.
