So, i purchased a q45... with out researching first. And ended up selling it again. Atleast i got my money back. I'm really looking into a 300zx maf. Either the n62 or z32. But, i was thinking... if you could use the KA24DE maf that originally came in my car would that still work? Ive researched it and came across the fact that KA24E, (single overhead) is the only one that would work. Not the Dual overhead cam Maf. Is this true? Any one using the ka24de (dual overhead)??? If so that would save me money right now. LEt me know! or here's a pic of my motor so far...

Well, is it that hard to say yes... or no? Ebay turbo is to get me by till i get more mulah for the gt28. And i do have my CAS... just not on my motor. Just like how i dont have my transmission attatched... and the motor isnt in my car... you might as well have mention'd those things too. THanks for the support buddy.

N62 = Z32. What made you think they were different? And yes, the KA24(E) maf is the only one that works with no mods necessary. And when you say "for the time being" how long are we talking? A couple weeks? A month? Anything more than that is a substantial amount of time on an inferior part.

also the ka24e mafs has slightly different values and can cause a lean condition. someone posted up a while back about it, which is why everyone that was running a ka-e mafs (including myself) were experiencing some rough spots and poor drivability under certain throttle positions. just get yourself a ca mafs. or a tuned ecu and a z32 mafs.

No, KA24E is not the same as the CAs MAF. Here is a great thread on the subject:http://texasnissans.com/tx/for...=3930

I run a KA24E MAF with the appropriate ROM tune.
