hey whats up guys, i used the search but could no get any info on which flywheels ( lightweight flywheels) everyone is using?. i knoe not many people carry them in the us besides http://www.raretrick.com and a few others. but if anyone has any info on other carriers and manufactureres please let me knoe!

www.takakaira.com Then just type in CA18DET in the search window. It'll bring up ALL KINDS of stuff. You'll just have to sift through it....

Is there anything wrong with getting your factory one lightened at the machine shop?....done it before on other engines....The CA flywheel looks to have plenty of meat on it!....how much would you lighten it by?

I'm about to find out. How much does the stock on weigh? Mine is getting lightend this week. Lets just hope it doesn't fly apart on me later! Hehehe

the CA flywheel weighs something like 28lbs. its rediculous. you can probably half that and still be relatively safe. let me know what you do to that thing and how it works for you.
