Sweet man! It is possible with that trim model but depending on the effort and costs it might be more worth it to buy an 88-89 SE model that has the CA18DE stock.

All parts are bolt in but you need the mounts, transmission, shift linkages, wiring harness, ect from the above said model. If you can find a parts car with say a blown motor or swiss cheese body for cheap them pick it up and swap all the required parts to your car.

Think about this then get back to us. There are several of us here on NICO that had done the conversion that can help you with every step along the way.

Good luck and in the words of a wise man Dee "Welcome to the darkside"

You will need a ca18de transmission and support then the clutch pedal since it's not the same has the other pulsar, You will need to use a ca18det FDW Ecu and rewire the ecu to stock sensor. a good clutch. I ran a few 1/4 run, and about 14 psi run a 14.40 with 205 street low profile tire.

The FWD versions are pretty rare im not even sure what cars they came in. The setup we all use is from the U12 Bluebird AWD. I have never seen this come in a front clip. The transmission is useless so i dont see the point. Talk to Boost_Boy or PulsarGTR on gettin a swap. If it comes down to it you can always convert a RWD motor this is simple to do. You really are going to need alot of pulsar parts to make it possible. Check local junkyards to see what they got.

You have two choise, of transmission that will fit in a pulsar, a ca16de transmission(87 pulsar with a 1.6 twin cam engine or the Ca18DE transmission (wish is a 88 pulsar 1.8). Both transmission will fit the engine, the cheapest one is the ca16de one, about 200$ CND in good shape. But if you would like to has more than 10 psi on stock turbo forget it, I blown the 4th and 5 gear of the ca16 transmission and by the same time the cluch slip was a Center Force stage 2 clutch.

If you need more info just ask will give you the best answer I have

The best transmission to get is a 88 pulsar SE 1.8 transmission wish is hydrolic. You will need, the clutch pedal, clutch master cylinder, the clutch, transmission, flywheel, rear engine support, side transmission support, and the shifter linkage.

The whole process took me about 14 hours to swap the whole thing.

Forget about using the same linkcage shifter, since the ca18 transmission is bigger the rod won't fit.

And you will need, a U12 Bluebird engine, wish is awd, trash the Awd transmission and fit the pulsar 87 or 88 one.

First and foremost, this cam't be rushed and there's no way you're going to pull this swap off within two weeks, so tell your girlfriend to get off your back and be patient before you never finish it.
