there a lot of place where you can rent a engine crane. And when you will take out the old engine you will know how to get the new in hehe

yes, do it yourself... you get the experience, and you get to buy a bunch of new shiny tools that you get to keep when youre all done... you dont get that by handing the keys over to joe shmo and risking someone you dont know doing a hack job

It's not worth doing it yourself if you have a limited background in mechanics, there are alot of tedious things that will piss you off during the swap, torrance is close to plenty of performance shops.

If you feel confident and able, then I say do it yourself or atleast take out the ka and then see how you feel about putting in the CA. If you still feel up to it then go for it, if not you just saved yourself about $400-500 if you let some1 finish up the swap for ya. Atleast see if you can get the CA in and then try your hand at the wiring, and if you cant do it I'm sure one of our forum members near you would be happy to lend a hand. In the unlikely chance that isnt the case then just pay a shop to finish the wiring for ya. Good luck to ya.

buy my engine, transmission, wiring package. the engine is built and the wiring is already converted for a USDM chassis so u dont have to change anything, plus u dont have to worry about finding and importer and worryin about gettin a bad engine. check the 2nd page of my thread for pricing and info. it's about halfway down

thanks!-ian

I think it's the one i used on my friends car, if it is it works great for his SR20DET.
