CA18DET Install Guide/Website

Ok...so here is the deal...

I have searched most of these thread for info on swapping CA18DET into S13's. There is alot of info to take in...so I was wondering if anyone has made a website , or know of one, that documents how to complete the swap???

Also, does anyone have any tips or hints before I embark on this quest for more power???

And lastly, FYI: I plan on doing this swap (CA18DET) into a S12. So mostly what I need to know is if you guys with the S13's remove the entire KA24(D)E harness and then "hook up" the CA18DET harness into the engine bay or do you modify the KA24(D)E harness to accept the CA18DET???

We remove the KA harness but we use a few plugs and wires off of it (the 2 plugs by the battery and the dash plug and some wire to extend the CA plug)

We use 99.8% of the CA harness.

Excellent...that's what I wanted to hear....

That just means that I can use a junkyard harness out of a S12 or S13 then for the litte bits of extending wires and clips and ****....good stuff!!!! :ylsuper

I can't untill I get my CA18DET!!!!:D
