hi there guys ,

last week i have changed my old blown turbo with brand new GT2860RS .64ar .

BUT with standard injectors , now i see %96 injector duty when pull at 3rd gear . so i can't use car at full throttle and map power fc properly . i don't want to run over %80 duty

so i have to upgrade my injectors .

i have a set of evo 9 DSM top feed low imp injectors , i searched about it but i can't find solid answers about it , some say early evo injectors will fit by drilling fuel rail injector sit to 11mm and some say lately evo injectors are crap for CA18det.

so , is stock EVO 9 injectors will be good , or what should i buy ?

and are GT-R injectors enough for 1 bar @ GT2860RS? i think they are not. i can ind a set of gt-r's but i think its best to ask to you guys

it's a little bit urgent because i cant run my car healthy now..

thank you all waiting or answer

Chances are all you need to do is make the injector holes a little bigger . I run dsm 650's from fuel injector clinic there prob really close to evo injectors. And a slight adjustment to the lower intake was all it took. I never had a problem with mine but its kinda pointless too upgrade to like 450's cause they won't help much and its kinda a pain to take off the intake. Not sure what size evo's are but if there like 550's you'll be in good shape. Hope this helped.

that is a good question i couldn't even run 1 bar on my stock maf and injectors on an s15 turbo. Injectors and maf were maxed out. What else you have done to the fuel system a 255 pump at least and nismo or equivalent fpr I hope .

I would say your in decent shape then. Throw them in should move pretty good at 1 bar.

I currently have evo injectors in my ca (560's). Im currently in the process of tuning for good air fuel numbers while cruising. I have heard they flow more then they are claimed to be, which could possibly make tuning a headache. I got mine for free so thats why im using them.

so you say i should give a try with evo9 injectors huh?

a friend of mine told me lately evo injectors may cause some lean mixture problems but i don't now why. so i think its better to try evo injectors and try to map again and keep my eyes on AFR gauge and injector duty..

Throw them in the only way you have any sort of prob is if there not anywhere close to flowing the same. So if you really wanted you could get them checked and cleaned there are a few places that that do this. According to your post you already have them so personally I would run them as is. 99% of the time one dsm or Honda ricer had a prob with a set of them which they prob caused so now someone decided there all junk. That just my opinion but its your car.

I am running evo FIC 650cc's on my CA18. Just had to re-use the ca18 o rings. No issues with leaks or anything so far.

Last week i also installed evo 9 injectors on my ca18 . Same as above i used brand new stock injectors o-rings. No leaks or something. No need for re-drill intake manifold.sits like oem part. Brilliant upgrade. İ had decreased my injector duty like %30.

Yeah I run Evo injectors too. No need to modify anything, just like you said. They can be a bit of a tight fit, but if you put a little dish washing soap on the o rings, they go right in.
