Here is the place to get all the specs and info on the CA18DET engine.CA18DET1.8 litre 4 cylinder cast iron engine16 valveTurbocharged (stock with a t-25)

is this the very first ca post? just thought id add a lil bit of info for the newbies.

8.5:1 compression

bore/stroke-83x83.6

turbo-garrett T25 .48a/r comp 39mm inducer .43a/r exhaust 41mm outlet

standard boost(origin?)- .7 bar (fuel cut@~1.05 bar)

intercooler-yes(but damn-near useless)

throttle body-54mm

AFM-50mm

ecu type-nissan eccs (remappable)

injectors-370cc topfeed hose-tail(2ohm)

hp/torque-130kw@6400rpm ~175hp 225Nm@4000 (somebody do a conversion)

from #62 Zoom magazine (australia)

rtsol are u sure about the AFM? (all the CA ones i have are 45mm).

i dont know, i got that from an aussy mag. are you sure your measuring it right?

I measured it right, basically a part of the part number on the sensor says it, it's in the second row and starts with AFH45 (which means 45mm, cause on SR AFM's it says AFH50 which means 50mm).

can you use a CA18et MAF with the DE motor? is there a voltage differance or any signal differance?? ill list the numbers of the ET MAF in a while you can compare the diff and maybe explain what the Numbers on them mean?

and this was the only post i havent been involved in around here so i figured id drop in on it !

I heard from a few sources that the latter CA18DET's had forged pistons from stock? Can anyone confirm?Any weblinks for ca18det apart from the ones alread on this webiste forum search as ive read those....
