Are the ca18det and sr20det igniters the same?

I know the plugs are different, but are we dealing with the same dwell times in this case?

go to a u-pull-it junk yard and look for a 90-93 q45 and take it off and put it in your tool box, then grab a relay and pay $5 bucks for it and you have a new ignitor for $5

Ok so VQ ignitors can be used on both sr20det and ca18det.

That means a ca18 ignitor with the proper plugs will work on an sr20.

thats my take on it anyways.
