the sensor on the back of the block that looks like a knock sensor need to know if it is the same on the pulsar?

on th intake side of the block almost in the middle. its the knock sensor. i need to know if one from the pulsar or a KA will work?

It's a simple device. If the plug is the same ..It will very likely be the same device.

You'd need to find a factory manual for the donor if you wish to transplant.

The ca18 FSM says:- The detonation sensor produced 3 to 4 volts. - You get a code 34 in mode III diagnosis if it's not working properly.

Find the operating voltage of the donor one, and check that it fits in the same hole. Of course the connector may need to be changed, remember that the knock sensor is connected using a fine shielded wire that is harder to solder a new connector on.
