Nope! The engine can start regardless of your neutral safety switch being hooked-up or not. If you are not familiar with wiring, I can see why you're having problems. Since you got the engine to turn over, but won't run, it would appear that something is wrong with the way the engine harness is wired or maybe your ecu is toast(?)Racerx2 wrote:also wouldn't the netural switch not being engaged, cause it not to spark....
