Hi guys!

I know this has kinda been covered but not in depth. People hardly talk about ca18det anymore.
Chassis :90 Hatch 240sx
Engine: ca18det duh

So here is my problem. I want to know what people have done to Frankenstein their cold side in to their inter cooler.

I've bought over 400$ worth of piping to get a a plug and play install, since we don't really have aluminum welders in Arkansas. I've bought two different sets of ca18det piping, and even one from a previous owner who has ran it, and i could not for the love of 240's get these pipes to line up what so ever. It feels like I'm missing a whole pipe either between the plenum and the first piping, or the middle piping just before the elbow to get to the inter cooler.
Is there any setups that you guys can show me that you've personally dealt with to get it to fit?

Also I've looked at numerous pictures and every single one is different, so its like it has to be welded or custom piped. The most common one looks like a 45 round bend of rubber which is about 8-10 inches long then it starts the piping. Any opinions would help. I've been trying to get this running for about a month now.

Hello. Did you cut through the battery tray? Did not see this mentioned.

From memory I believe most of the SR FMIC kits can work with the CA with a little modification.

I did cut through the battery tray. What the previous told me he did was add a black extension tube, change his upper radiator hose to a flex one
so that he may run only two pipes (elbow and intake pipe) . has anyone done the same thing?
