Does anyone know if the ca18de and ca18det heads are interchangeable?thanks.

yes they are, i have a de head on my det block.

det's dont have any EGR gear, but if u get a usdm de head it will have EGR gear attached to the back of it.

Really?Awesome!I found a place where I can get a remanufactured head with valves, springs, retainers and lifters for a ca18de for $325. Guess I should get some pistons and an overhual kit.

Yeah I was on the phone with them the other day. Everything in the head minus the cams.
