ca18det harness graft guide needed

I'm going to start a project car. It's going to be a 1997 240sx with a CA18DET swap. And I was told that the swap can work but I'd need to change the CA18DET's harness to match the harness of a Red top SR20 motor. I was told that the SR20 motors harness fits into the '97 240sx's harness correctly. My question is does anyone know of a link or have a guide as to tell me how to graft a CA18 harness into that of a red top SR20 motor?

no, and you won't find one. it's too similar to the redtop sr to make doing a seperate write up worthwhile if you ask me (but that's just me) if you are really worried about the wiring, there is one other guy on this message board that has a ca-s14. His screen name is damesta, and he does them on ebay under the same name. I think he charges like 175 or something. In hindsight, I'd have had him do mine, but I blew a crap load of money paying Yuri at wiring specialties to botch mine in the first place. Don't go there. at least damest has PRACTICAL experience doing this swap in his own ride. Or, just do it yourself, you learn alot more about all the components in your car, where there are, where they go, and what they do. It'll pay off in the long run.

yeah i remember reading a thread about wiring harnesses and a guy named Yuri at a shop. Sorry to hear all that, but thanks for the info man, I might just do it myself just to learn all the electrical components anyway.

the FRSport SR20 wiring guide is close enough to wire up to the CA.

+1!I lost the link to that! but that's the one I used! Just make sure you also pay attention to the ecu pinout too.
