CA18DET GURU HELP?

HI. I NEED SOME HELP!! yesterday i was working on my engine when i did a little pull to engine harness and the fuel pump turn it on wtf? ..mmm y did a few time again and the same thing happend. im totaly sure that it off!!! then i go to inside and yes!! its off!!! . ok i turn it on nothing happend i hear the fuel pump on for few second and stop..normal operated , i crank it a few time andd...!!!! here the problem , when i turn it off it still on!! i removed keys and nothing happen still on contact what!! , unplug the conector below the stering and still on , the same whit alternator i also removed the switch begind the drum key s and clean it ,and nothing!! the only way to turn it off was unpluging the battery.

i repeat a few time and still doing it!!

i think something whit the engine harness is wrong, what cable can cause this? color? im going to stripe out tomorrow

sounds like your ECU main power wire is grounding out and turning on/staying on as if the key was in the "key on" position.

Or the fuel pump relay failed and is stuck shut.

no is not the fuel pump relay i check it , this occur when i pull the engine harness. something is moving inside it and cause that

Im goin with what gabby said I did my friends car and the same thing would happen just go through the harness and make sure all of your grounds are good

If it's not the relay, then you've got a ground problem somewhere like Gabby said.

There's a flaw in your wiring job. This problem is not uncommon, but you'll need to figure where the flaw is at. If you can't solve or can't find someone to solve it for you, I live in Miami as well, so you're not totally screwed.

ok, i discover this . when unplug the coil pack i hear a sound coming from coil relay. i remove it and take the multimeter tool to check coil harness .i have two wire whit 12v dc contantly red and white color , but when unplug the ignitor it disapear from readings .

what can cause it? the problem come form ther coil pack harness and eccs relay and coil relay i think.

1 the car is swchited off .

2 only the battery is plug

3 i also check other sensor from the harness and have no reading

i clear all grounding plug and relocated and still whit the same ..

i found it , something whit pin 16 from ecu after a week to woks on it in my free time.
