Race Engineering = $537 including rings. And yeah, you need to buy those rings as the rings for the CP pistons are thinner than the OEM rings. But $537 is probably about the best you are going to do.

Raceeng.com is where I got my CP pistons. CP Pistons are the best from what I have heard, when you compare them to Wiseco, etc.

Let me ask you this, why the need for forgies? Did you melt your old ones or you want upgrade while the engine's apart? Raceengineering is the quickest resource available. I've been purchasing CA pistons from them since 1998, so before any of you say CP is better than wiseco, watch your tongue or you will open a can that you can't close. THey both are very good piston makers and can both get the job done "Effectively". I have a built engine with wiseco pistons in standard trim as well as the engine in my fiance's sentra impregnated with CP pistons and all of them are well built pistons IMHO.

I agree, it´s hard to say a piston is better than another brand.

Let´s say piston A can handle 700 hp and piston B 600 hp, sometimes that´s because piston A got a thicker piston top and weigh 100 grams more. In a high rev 400 hp engine piston B might be the best choise even if it´s weaker.

I´ve used CP, Wiseco and JE and never had any problem with any of them. The Wiseco looks best of these I think, looks more expensive.

I agree that the wiseco slugs look a little fancier, but they all perform up to the task. The CPs are available without the wait.

the best bit in favour of wiseco's is they need a smaller clearance so you don't get nearly so much rattle

+1 Race Engineering. That's where I got mine from.
