Sorry about your engine, man. I'll drop you an email with my #, so I can at least try to help you. But as for my mainstream engine stuff, I'm not messing with that stuff until after January 20, 2007. Thanks Ryan for giving these guys a heads-up on my current status.RalliartRsX wrote:Do you have any idea when he is coming back float??
Also, dee if your reading this, can you send me your number again. I lost it from when we spoke about 2 months ago about the hybrid T25. I might need a long block in the near future as I developed a rod knock and I think I might have spun a bearing. Let me know.
Thanks, Chris.
I'll drop you an email on this probably tomorrow or sometime this week. I'm getting ready to head back to Georgia, so I can't be complete with information at this time. But I'm sure that your request can be met with a good price and a good engine set. I won't be home again til Jan. 12th if you want an engine inspected. But I'll be home permanently on the 19th when I graduate, so be patient and I'll help you with this.PhillyDaKid-S13 wrote:Yo Dee.....
apparently, you are THE person to go to on these forums when it comes to CA18's. Whenever you do return, if its not too much trouble, could you give me a price quote on the following?
complete ca swap - block n head, manifolds, harness, ecu, turbo, transmission, everything except the sidemount intercooler.....im going str8 to frontmount.
the complete swap minus the smic and transmission. I may just build the motor and buy the transmission later.
my email is [email protected]
Really would appreciate it, man
ONE LOVE
They usually include all the necessary components to get your engine started. I always recommend to everyone to buy you a decent FMIC because the smic is garbage and can hurt you more than it can help you; especially when you crank-up the boost. Again, I'll call my friend when I leave this Library and see if he has complete engine sets at his business at which time I'll get back to you guys via your personal emails.Thepest wrote:Need a ca18det complete, what does it all include shipped to 89108. email; [email protected]
If your crank is toast, get a crank kit for around the $200 mark. If I sold you a crank, it would be just a crank and you would end up paying about $120 less shipping. If your engine is screwed-up, buy another one and use that one for a project.BG wrote:Hey i was trying to locate a crank shaft for the ca18det
I'll see if he's willing to let it go without a transmission (shouldn't be a problem). You ready to buy?CAfast wrote:hey Dee...i need a RWD CA18DET...just the motor with all accessories...no transmission...and no wiring harness...i''m going to swap it into my AE86...
