*hey Victor since we are both in AZ we might be able to ship them to one place on the same freight to perhaps making shipping cheaper...

Car previously had a spun rod bearing so I replaced it with another SOHC, but something tells me this one isn't going to last to long either. So if ya could, get back to me with some info. That would be awesome and greatly appreciated. I'm located in 01013 BTW. Thanks man!

The answer to question 1 is "no", but there might be an auto transmission around my friend's warehouse somewhere.Neejay wrote:Two questions:
1. Do you carry auto CA motorsets?
2. Would you be willing to install stuff prior to sending a motor out (for a fee of course)?

I'm not completely knocking the CA or the difficulty in swapping. I just fail to see the logic in dropping down that much in displacement. How in the hell was anything I said that negative to deserve that kind of response anyway? If I was disrespecting the CA I wouldn't have said I was putting one in my AE86. The CA in my opinion is superior to the "boat anchor" SR. I understand sharing the CA love. I'm just trying to help people in the 240 community to save money on engine sets. The place I bought mine did a damn good job on removal and shipping. NO SENSORS BROKE, NO CUTS IN THE HARNESS, and MOST IMPORTANTLY NOTHING WAS MISSING. I'm just tryin to share my connection with my community, homie. If you all felt disrespected then I apoligize. I'll post my money saving tid-bits in another thread.float_6969 wrote:Because the RB20 is a big fat heavy pig. The swap also is much harder to perform than the CA swap. If you've got anything else negative to say, please keep it to yourself, or post it in a different thread.
