I used search and no one has mentioned it.What size is the opening on the Dump (elbow) pipe? The one between the turbo and the down pipe.A friend is going to make me a custom exhaust but i need to know what size flanges etc to order so I don't have to run around scrounging while my car just takes up space in his shop..

Should I replace the dump pipe? I've heard it's a decent enough design and I wouldn't see any gains unless I'm running some heavy mods already.

the stock o2 housing to dp opening is 2 inches. judging by the fact that the dp appears to be the same size, which is in turn the same size as the stock ka24e cat, which is 2 inches. again, i would go look to make absolutely sure, but my car is 250 miles away. 2 inches should be fine though.

I was hoping to do a full 3" system from that elbow back.. I guess I need to replace the elbow now too, that'll be harder to do.

it's my understanding that you can use a SR O2 pipe (like the nice GReddy one) and you can then use a SR front pipe.

however, I can't confirm if the ghey little CA turbo has the same exhaust flange as the SR.

it does... go ahead and use an SR o2 housing and downpipe. It'll work fine:)

The Flying dump pipe fits nicely.

"WE GUARANTEE MASSIVE POWER INCREASE OF UP TO 50 PS!!!"

in english, "we guarantee that you MIGHT get a hp increase, and we chose 50 because it was big, and we chose ps because we're SOOOOO JDM."

If this is honest advertising, shoot me now.

they probably got that increase by getting the hks 180sx, then comparing their product to a custom 1.25in downpipe/o2 housing.
