I used the ones from a 1987 Nissan Pulsar SE DOHC.

Yea, I'm glad you didn't. That isn't something you want to leave a bolt out of. But just to warn you, it took me almost 2 months to get that set of bolts in. But that was also at the time that Nissan of North America was having problems getting parts from Japan.

Mine took about 5 weeks, and I went with the pulsar bolts too. float, did yours look a wee bit shorter than the originals? Mine seem to be.

By wee do you mean like 1mm?The bolts will stretch when you torque them down.So one that's been torqued will be a TEENY bit longer than a "fresh" one.

Yea, mine were a little shorter than the ones that I pulled out. Only, it was pretty noticible. I had looked at the wrong torque specs when I tightened them down when I first put the motor in and they were VISIBLY stretched. It was pretty crazy to see metal do that. I'm just lucky they didn't break and I didn't loose any limbs from the flywheel coming off or anything...
