yeah sorry i know it has been here before but the new forum only has 2 pages and i don't know how to access the restI got 145-150psi accross 4 banks todayhow off am i from new?Thanks guys!

In the fsm it says Standard compression pressure is 171/ 350 rpm and minimum is 142/350 rpm. I've never seen the rpm number included before, but thats how it's written. The differential limit between cylinders is 14 so your good there.

well, 350rpm is just what the starter turns the engine at, it isnt necissary to include it as its not possible to test it at other than 350rpm. your compression is fine.

Why did I have "175" written on the valve cover atop each cylinder?

maybe the comp. ratio when it was last tested? im guessing someone slacked off and didnt quite test it properly, then just wrote 175 on it and called it a day.
